By Rosalind Russell – Espanola council has declared National Legion Week from September 17th to 23rd.
The kick-off will be the official designation of Centre Street/Highway 6 as Veteran’s Way next Monday.
The dedication is to honour service men and women, past, present, and future.
The public is asked to meet at the town hall for 11:30 am when the Manitoulin OPP will close part of the intersection for the unveiling of signage.
Following the ceremony, the public is invited to attend a gathering at the Legion.
