By Rosalind Russell – Espanola council met with representatives from both the OPP and the Real Estate Client Advisory about options on replacing the OPP facilities available to the Espanola and North Shore corridor.
Jenya Thawani, Client Advisor, Real Estate Client Advisory for Infrastructure Ontario says the options include one) land contribution to the province, two) lease-based building only with the municipality building the structure and three turn-key with the municipality building all the structures and determining leasing parameters.
Council will be discussing the options and designating staff on what option will best serve the area before making any final decisions.
