By Rosalind Russell – Students from Espanola High School participated in the First Annual Eco Summit hosted by Laurentian University.
One student, Sofie Krann says the summit was a success with her and other students participating in many environmentally based workshops.
She adds she also participated in meditation through art, a nature hike and more importantly, learned about environmental sustainability on the university grounds.
