By Rosalind Russell – The Espanola Knights Cruisers Club invited a couple of special guests to their weekly gathering in the Giant Tiger parking lot for a presentation.
Richard Andrew Stroud, the president of the cruisers presented a cheque to Donelda Cannard representing the Massey Food Bank while Ryle Ongarato, the vice-president presented a cheque to Susan Kryzanowski representing the Espanola Helping Hand Food Bank.
The agencies will use the funds to fill the shelves through the fall months.
Cash donations and/or non-perishable goods are welcomed both agencies throughout the year.
