Espanola’s treasurer releases renumeration of council and police board

Rosalind Russell – Espanola’s treasurer has released the statement of remuneration for council members and the police board for 2022.

The Treasurer’s Statement of Remuneration features salaries and training expenditures for members of council and the police board annually by March 31st every year. 

Treasurer Alan Hewitt told council the 2022 report included the salaries and training expenditures for both the former council’s final year in their term, and the new council elected last October.

He adds the report also included remuneration for councillors who sat on the Manitoulin-Sudbury Social Services Board.
