Russell won the Ms Elite Regional Canada 2024 title this past Saturday representing unmarried women over the age of 40 as Ms LaCloche Foothills; representing the Town of Espanola, and the townships of Nairn-Hyman, Baldwin, and Sables-Spanish Rivers.

She also won NOFCC Ambassador, Public Speaking, Pre-Pageant Promotion, Pageant Promotion and Friendship Awards in her division.

Russell was joined by her 2024 sister queens, Ms Regional Canada, Marie Giorlando of Windsor, Mrs Elite Regional Canada, Kelly-Ann Pilon of Timmins, and Mrs Regional Canada, Greater Sudbury’s Valerie Champion.

The four will now attend various public engagements throughout the year advocating for their causes, and with Russell, her focus will be the establishment of long-term care facilities for the mentally ill, addicted and the homeless.
