Funding available to hire NOSM students

By Rosalind Russell – The Northern Ontario School of Medicine University is supporting the next generation of care providers.

Funding is now available for healthcare agencies across the region to hire healthcare learners for jobs next summer.
Funded by the Ministry of Health, the program helps give students paid, firsthand work experience in their field of study while supporting the development and retention of homegrown talent.
Several professions are covered, including nursing, medical radiation, physiotherapy, speech language pathology, medical lab tech, and others.
The deadline to apply is January 1.
