By Rosalind Russell – A Manitoulin Island family needs some financial support after their six-year-old’s been diagnosed with cancer.
Deanna Hardy says six-year-old Sadie Graham of Evansville, the daughter of Rob Graham and Jes Howell, was recently diagnosed with acute leukemia, and that has led to some financial hardship.
Hardy says Sadie’s brother, Ray, and her parents are with her in Toronto while she receives medical treatment and are currently unable to work.
To that end, she has organized a spaghetti dinner and silent auction at the Gore Bay Legion, Sunday August 11th from five pm to eight pm.
She adds tickets can be purchased by contacting her on Facebook or at Betty’s Convenience Store in Gore Bay.
