By Rosalind Russell – The East Algoma OPP Detachment will be welcoming the OPP Golden Helmets Precision Motorcycle Team next week.
According to the release, the public is welcome to take in this free event that will take place in three North Shore Corridor locations next weekend.
The team will be on Thessalon’s Main Street at 6 pm next Friday, September 12th, then on Woodward Avenue in Blind River at 3 pm on Saturday, and the final appearance in Elliot Lake at the Lower Plaza at 1 pm on Sunday.
The Ontario Provincial Police Golden Helmets Precision Motorcycle Team made up of front-line officers from southern Ontario detachments, perform every year throughout the province.
First formed in 1963, the OPP Golden Helmets continue to thrill audiences at fairs, festivals and parades.
