Huron Shores looking for ideas of a new lumberjack

By Rosalind Russell – Huron Shores youth council wants to host a contest to help create a new statue for its’ Iron Bridge Historical Museum.

According to the release, the statue of the current lumberjack need replacing.

The municipality is looking for an innovative piece of art that highlights its history and enhance tourism at the entrance to the museum.

The conceptual drawings or ideas can be submitted to the municipality for consideration by March 30th.

The Huron Shores Youth Council will select the winning submission.
