By Rosalind Russell – Espanola’s Inaugural Pride Family Day was a success with nearly 600 people taking part.
Families with their children took in a variety of free activities, games and more on Saturday.
Mayor Doug Gervais spoke on the importance of inclusion and welcomed the participants followed by statements by sponsors and other officials.
With the success of the inaugural event, Espanola Pride is also looking forward to making the celebration an annual event.
