By Rosalind Russell – If you love your Big Mac or Happy Meal, today it will taste extra special since it is McHappy Day.
McHappy Day is a one-day fundraiser organized by McDonald’s Canada and its independent franchisees where a portion of proceeds from all food and beverage menu items go to Ronald McDonald Houses and Homes, and other local children’s charities
The funds raised go directly towards providing essential support to families across Canada including accommodations, food, mental health and wellness support and so much more while their child is receiving medical treatment.
In our local area, the funds will go to support homes in Sudbury, Ottawa and Toronto.
Over the past 30 McHappy Day events, more than $100M+ has been raised supporting nearly half a million families with sick children to date.
The Moose 99.3 FM will be on site from 10 am to 12 noon today.
