By Rosalind Russell – The An annual rite marking the start of the school year will be held at Espanola High School next month.
Kicking off the 2026-27 school year, the school will host its annual Jump Day for Grade nine students, providing new students an opportunity to familiarize themselves with their new school.
According to the release, students entering high school and their parents or guardians are invited to tour the school, find their lockers and homerooms, get their timetables, and meet their teachers.
The two-hour session runs from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 1st.
Following the tour, there is also a complimentary barbecue for the attendees.
The first day of school is Tuesday, September 8, following the Labour Day Weekend.
