By Rosalind Russell – The City of Elliot Lake has announced that the Kraft Hockeyville pre-season game will be held in Sudbury.

According to the release, the City of Elliot Lake will host the game between the Ottawa Senators and the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Sudbury Community Arena on September 29th.

It also states that more information regarding the game and ticketing will be announced at a later date.

The city won the game and $250,000 as the winnings from this year’s Kraft Hockeyville contest.

Meanwhile, the fundraising continues for repairs to the Centennial Arena.

The team at AJ Bus Lines made a generous $25,000 donation to the Jamie and Jo-Ann Armstrong Centennial Arena Repair Fundraising Challenge on Tuesday.
