By Rosalind Russell – The Anishinabek Nation is hosting its 8th Annual Lands and Resources Forum in North Bay this week.
Officials say sessions run today through Friday and will include presentations and discussions among Anishinabek Nation leadership, citizens, government officials, industry experts and more.
Along with critical minerals and mining, other topics on the agenda include agriculture and food security, forestry, and invasive species.
Attendees include representatives from all the local First Nations in our area and the Manitoulin District.
