Laurentian University Partners with Rick Hansen Foundation to Deliver Accessibility Certification Training

By Rosalind Russell – Laurentian University is partnering with the Rick Hansen Foundation to deliver the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification Training program over the next year.

LU manager of the Centre for Continuing Learning, Christina Schopke says the collaboration aims to promote and advance accessibility for those with disabilities.

She says the course will begin June 26th.

She adds anyone interested in the program must have a minimal two years of post-secondary studies in architecture, engineering, urban planning, interior design, or a related program adding tuition grants will be available for residents of Ontario.
