Local charities and entrepreneurs encouraged to take part in online grant application seminar

By Rosalind Russell – Charities, non-profits, individual businesses, and other local groups may not know how to apply for a grant, but a regional group is hosting a seminar to help them through the process.

According to the release, the Huron North Community Economic Alliance is inviting entrepreneurs and organizations to take part in a free online grant writing seminar that will take place on Thursday, January 11th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The seminar will feature three key speakers from the Ontario ministries of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and Northern Development, as well as FedNor.

The meeting is open to organizations and individuals in the districts of Algoma, Manitoulin, and Sudbury.
