Local indigenous artist designing jersey for Sudbury Wolves special game

By Rosalind Russell – A local indigenous artist has been selected to design the jerseys for a Sudbury Wolves special game.

Mike Cywink, formerly of Whitefish River First Nation, but now residing in London, is thrilled to have been asked to design the jerseys for the Sudbury Wolves for their upcoming Indigenous night this Friday.

Cywink says he is proud to have indigenized the logo, shoulder patches, numbers and arm/waist bands for what will become collectibles for fans.

The puck drops this Friday at 7:05 pm against the North Bay Battalions.
