By Rosalind Russell – The Manitoulin Central Family Health Team has temporarily relocated its central office for 2026.
According to the release, the team has moved to 8 Anglin Street, Mindemoya, effective immediately.
The relocation is necessary due to a catastrophic flood caused by a failure of the sprinkler system in the lower level of the hospital, which resulted in the closure of areas including clinic rooms, physician offices, and administrative spaces. At this time, an exact timeline for re-occupancy cannot be confirmed; however, restoration is anticipated to extend into fall/winter 2026/2027.
The office is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
If you have questions or require assistance, please contact the office at 705-377-5371.
For patients with scheduled appointments, a member of the Manitoulin Central Family Health Team will call in advance to confirm the appointment date, time, and location. If you are expecting a confirmation call and have not yet received one day prior to the appointment, please contact the office at 705-377-5371 to clarify.
Patients and members of the public are kindly asked to be patient and respectful with staff as the team navigates this temporary transition.
Patients may continue to book their primary care appointments online at www.mcfht.ca, by phone at 705-377-5371 or in person at 8 Anglin Street, in Mindemoya.
