By Rosalind Russell – A group of concerned citizens are banding together to form a new ratepayer’s association in the Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers.
According to the release, the initial meeting, slated for June 10th, will focus on the role a ratepayer’s association can play in the municipality.
Officials say it will also provide opportunities for resident’s input into the affairs of the township including special areas such as economic development, delivery of services accountability and more.
Anyone concerned about municipal matters can attend the meeting taking place at 6 pm at the Lil
Brew Café on Imperial Street in Massey.
