By Rosalind Russell – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced yesterday that it rebranded its logo.
League Commissioner Robert Mazzuca says the new logo features a colour scheme of multiple blues, grey, white and red designed by graphic designer Paul Ainsworth from Timmins.
He says Ainsworth is no stranger to the league, since he is an alumnus of the league and played his junior hockey previously with his hometown Timmins Golden Bears in the 1990s.
Mazzuca says the league preseason play begins, so the logo has been unveiled in time for the pre-season to begin.
