By Rosalind Russell – Small and medium-sized businesses dealing with the impact of U-S tariffs can apply to the province for funding support.
Ontario’s Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade Minister Vic Fedeli says the new 50-million-dollar Ontario Together Trade Fund will help businesses build local capacity, enhance trade resiliency, and make investments to expand into new markets.
It’s one of a couple of programs being rolled out – and with Thursday being budget day — more are expected.
Eligible businesses can access money to invest in serving additional interprovincial customers and re-shore vital supply chains in the face of U-S tariffs.
