By Rosalind Russell – East Algoma OPP is asking for assistance in connection to a boat theft that occurred at a Hydro One property on Arseneault Road in Blind River between April 15th and April 20th.
Constable Phil Young says the fence at the back of property was cut and the boat was pulled off the trailer and through the fence, dragged through the bush and into the Mississauga River.
He says the boat is a 16-foot Stanley Uhaul, has Hydro One written on it, and had a 40hp Yamaha outboard motor.
Young adds anyone with any information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
