By Rosalind Russell – Espanola’s Royal Canadian Legion Branch #39 had some special presentations to make at their last general meetings.
Legion President, Gary MacPherson presented Corporal Greg Gilbert, a Legion member who serves with the Sudbury-based Canadian Army Reserve Regiment, Susan Kryzanowski and Dan Kryzanowski with plaques in recognition of their past acknowledgement as Legionnaire of the Year.
Corporal Jean Lamothe was also presented with a hand-crafted wall hanging created by Comrade Dianne Arthurs to recognize his service to the country.
