By Rosalind Russell – Registration is underway for sea cadets on Manitoulin Island.
The NCCL Ed Kift Navy League Cadets are inviting families to consider signing up their children ages 9 to 12 who love the water.
The corps offers youth the opportunity to learn about the Navy, its history, boating, and more.
Joining is free, and uniforms are provided on loan to any child who signs up.
Youth meet on Tuesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion Branch #177 starting September 8.
Youth from across Manitoulin Island and the North Shore are invited to join.
