Anyone who wishes to nominate a senior or a youth for a provincial recognition have until Friday to complete the application.
Every year, municipalities across Ontario are asked to nominate people for either the Senior of the Year or the Youth of the Year for recognition for their volunteerism and advocacy.
The Town of Blind River and Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers are two local communities, which must be submitted by Friday for consideration of the award(s).
The forms for the Sables-Spanish Rivers are available on their website while anyone wishing to nominate a senior in Blind River can visit the link on our websites.
In Blind River, make sure to fill out the online survey to nominate your choice for Senior of the Year 2024 at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FBTHWTC . The SSRT site is Public Notices – Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers .
