By Rosalind Russell – The sound of music will come alive on June 10th when Espanola High School hosts its Spring Concert.
Espanola High School principal Andrea Therrien says the Junior and Senior Bands will play selections from the Northern Ontario Music Festival as well as band favourites under the direction of music teacher Tracy Mark.
She adds the Jazz Sudbury Youth Band will join the bands and features musicians from schools across the Rainbow District School Board, including four students from Espanola High School.
Therrian says the gathering is also a fundraiser for the music program, so admission is a donation, adding the popular bake sale will also take place.
It’ll all take place at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s gym.
