By Rosalind Russell – Throughout September and October, students in Rainbow Schools will walk in support of The Terry Fox Foundation.
Board communication director Nicole Charette says Terry Fox Runs are held annually in communities across Canada to raise funds for cancer research.
She adds last year more than $26,700 was collected through school-based events.
Charette adds all Rainbow schools will participate this year including schools in Massey, Espanola and across Manitoulin Island.
She says the public is thanked in advance for all their support.
