By Rosalind Russell – While some just want the snow to go away, snowmobile enthusiasts are hoping it sticks around until at least the first week of April.
Mount Dufour organizers are hosting the 2026 Mount Dufour Hill Climb on April 4 (10 am start) pointing out the recent storm has heavily packed the snow making for ideal racing conditions.
A licenced fundraiser, there is a $50 per class entry fee and spectators can also purchase tickets for $25 with tickets available at various local outlets.
Since it is a licenced event, attendees under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
