TRAVEL ALERT: Hwy. 6 is closed in both directions from Birch Lane to Hopkins Road in Espanola due to a washout on the roadway.
It is expected to be closed for several hours.

There is also a culvert washout on Fox Lake Road and no detour
MTO WILL BE LOOKING INTO THIS ONE
Please be advised that Bass Lake Road is also closed at 2174 Bass Lake Road due to a culvert washout.
The road is impassable, and no detour is available.
Emergency services have been notified, and “Road Closed” signs and barricades have been erected at sites.
Public Works is working on the repair and is optimistic that they will get the road reopened today.

There is also a washout on Penage Road, which is impassable at this time.
