By Rosalind Russell – The Veteran’s Walk in Massey as completed in record time, thanks to the generosity of local volunteers and veterans. US veteran, Elmo Mitchell US Navy Seabee, from Mustang, Oklahoma was in tears at the creation happening before him. Corporal Stan Pilon who served eight years, including a tour in Afghanistan, assisted with the finishing of the crosswalk. Volunteers included members of council as well as three generations helping out in honour of all veterans, especially in honour of a great father, grandfather & great grandfather.
