12th Annual Moose Christmas Radiothon raises around $30,000

By Rosalind Russell – The Moose 99.3 FM – CJJM in Espanola ran a successful radiothon last Friday in support of the Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre Foundation.

Around $30,000 was raised, with some of those funds coming from the Smile Cookie Campaign.

Up to $6,000 will go to the Tim Hortons Camp Foundation to support their programming, while the rest will go towards the cost of a new patient simulator at the hospital, which will be used for trauma training.

The campaign continues into 2026 to meet the foundation’s overall goal of $100,000.
