Espanola releases preliminary draft of Strategic Action Plan for public Input

By Rosalind Russell – Espanola residents are  being offered the opportunity to review the preliminary draft of the Strategic Action Plan.
Espanola’s Mayor, Doug Gervais, says the town has released the findings of Strategic Planning consultations held over the past few months, the results of their public survey, and the preliminary draft of its Strategic Action Plan.
Gervais says at their April 12th Special Council meeting, they received a presentation from the consultants with 546 people responding to the public survey.
He adds an open house will be held tonight from 7 pm to 8:30 pm at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex.
Gervais says residents can also comment on the plan by visiting the online presentation.
