By Rosalind Russell – It was a perfect sunny winter day for supporters of the 2026 Espanola-North Shore Snowarama out on the trails.
The annual event is held to raise funds and awareness of Easter Seals, which in turn, provides equipment to children with disabilities, operates two camps and provides bursaries to support Easter Seals Kids.
Over $26,000 was raised this year with the top rider being Leo Deveau raising the brunt of it at $18,780.94.
The top youth fundraiser is Kaleb Romaniuk bringing in $1,905.00
Ricky Dixon of Espanola was also this year’s Easter Seals Ambassador.
A huge shout out to Tim Hortons in Espanola, the WIng House in Massey and the Webbwood Eagles for opening your doors to help Snowarama be another success this year.
The Moose 99.3 FM – CJJM – Espanola is proud to support this annual event.
