By Rosalind Russell – Another Sturling Spiel is now in the books following competition at the Espanola Curling Club this weekend.
Sturling Spiel is a two-person curling game with either stick or slide delivery (the S stands for stick or slide, the ‘t’ for two-person team, and the rest for curling.)
Played as a six-end game, it is an excellent level of competition for sporting enthusiasts.
This year’s winners are: First place Bill Lewis and Everett Eadie; Second place Joanne Hache and Sylvie Clarke; and Third place Patrick Ramsay and Hillary Gagan.
