Curling Club Cleanout

By Aidan Kallioinen – Volunteers with the Espanola Curling Club spent the better part of their Saturday morning last week on a Spring cleaning project, going through decades of old records and long forgotten memorabilia found in storage. This comes as the Espanola Curling Club has just received $198,043 in funding from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund (NOHFC) to replace its aging ice plant, and looks to install new taps at its bar. The cleanout and major upgrades will help sustain the community hub’s lifespan into the foreseeable future.
