By Rosalind Russell – Algoma’s biggest children’s fishing derby is set for later this month in Elliot Lake.
The Second Annual Kids Fishing Derby will be held July 22nd at Westview Park in Elliot Lake with registration at 8am and an 8:30 am start.
Preregistration forms can be picked up at Canadian tire Elliot Lake, in the sports department.
The day includes some great fishing, a barbecue, prizes and the first 100 pre-registrations will get a free t-shirt.
There will also be instructors on site to help kids bait and catch their fish.
