Anishinabek Police Service officially joins the Provincial Bail Compliance Dashboard

By Rosalind Russell – The Anishinabek Police Service has onboarded onto the Ontario Provincial Police Provincial Bail Compliance Dashboard (PBCD).

Regional Inspector Dory Cook says the dashboard is aimed at monitoring and sharing information about individuals on bail for firearms-related offences and/or crimes against the person offences.

He says the Dashboard is a situational awareness and investigative tool, managed by the OPP, that shares data assisting police officers with managing individuals on bail in the community.

He adds it significantly improves the monitoring of bail compliance, enhancing the safety of frontline officers and ensuring they can proactively respond to bail violations.

Cook says by providing officers with the ability to better track and monitor those individuals causing great harm to our communities, this frontline situational awareness tool supports our vision of protecting our people.

More information about the dashboard is available at opp.ca/pbcd.
