By Rosalind Russell – There was a large crowd in attendance for the grand reopening of the revamped and expanded emergency department at the Mindemoya Health Centre yesterday.
Following congratulatory messages and the acknowledgement of financial supporters, those in attendance were able to take in a tour of the expanded facility.
The project received some financial supports outside of the $2.5 million that had to be raised locally over the last four years.
The renovation included a larger centralized incoming station, examination rooms and larger treatment stations.
