By Rosalind Russell – An Elliot Lake athlete has returned home after a successful national summer games.
Tyrina Cyr, who represented Elliot Lake and Ontario at the Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in Medicine Hat, Alberta, has come home with plenty of hardware.
The Special Olympian claimed Gold in the 4x400m relay, Bronze in both the 400m and Mini Javelin events, and had an impressive 4th-place finish in the running long jump
