By Rosalind Russell – It will be a busy day for clerks at municipal offices throughout Ontario certifying candidates for municipal councils and school boards.
Nominations officially closed last Friday afternoon, Augus 21st at 2 pm.
Clerks must now make sure all candidates have met all the requirements to run for office for the next four years.
The election will be held October 26th.
The candidates list will be uploaded tomorrow once certification is complete.
