By Rosalind Russell – Following the success of the Smile Cookie Campaign in Espanola and McKerrow, Giant Tiger has stepped up to assist the Helping Hand Food Bank.
Store owner Dan Vanier and his staff raised two thousand dollars taking in donations at the check out in the latter weeks of April.
Vanier also sponsored a “donation” BBQ outside the store on May 2nd providing the food stuffs with the Espanola Lions Club and food bank volunteers providing the labout raising almost $700 – that’s a lot of hotdogs!
