By Rosalind Russell – Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a fatality involving a train.
According to the release, yesterday morning at approximately, the police responded to a report of a collision involving a train and a pedestrian at the intersection of Elm Street and Frood Road.
Officers arrived on scene and located an individual who had sustained fatal injuries who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing in collaboration with Canadian Pacific Kansas City Police Service.
The identity of the deceased will be released pending notification of next of kin.
