By Rosalind Russell – Nickel Belt MPP France Gelinas met with members of the Ontario Nursing Association yesterday to officially launch Nursing Week and lend her support those dedicated workers.
She says the ONA represents registered nurses, registered practical nurses and nurse practitioners. Gelinas addressed the ONA representatives at Queen’s Park supporting this year’s association theme Experts in Care, Fighting for Change highlighting the value and expertise that nurses bring.
Closer to home, nurses in hospitals, long-term care, and in private practice, are being celebrated for their services.
