By Rosalind Russell – Throughout the entire month of May, donated empties and monetary donations at The Beer Store in Espanola will go towards fighting cancer.
Beer store manager, Taryn Bonds says the campaign will have a direct impact on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, as all contributions will go directly to the society.
Bond says on Saturday, May 23, the Leukemia Bottle Drive will take place, and the Espanola Lions Club will also host a BBQ from 12-2PM at the store Espanola, with all proceeds with the public invited to come out and support the campaign.
