By Rosalind Russell – Espanola Legion Branch #39 will acknowledge the volunteer efforts of its members and the larger community at its annual Honours & Awards Night.
Legion President Gary MacPherson says the night is an opportunity to acknowledge members for their work, veteran’s contributions and the community for helping them maintain and grow the programs they provide in Espanola.
He says the dinner will take place Thursday; October 12th followed by the presentations.
MacPherson says the doors open at 5:30 pm with dinner at 6:30 pm.
He adds the event is open to members only and their families at $35 per person with tickets available at the branch office or the bar.
RSVP is Friday, October 6th.
