By Rosalind Russell – The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board has announced Sandra Turco has been re-elected as chair of the board of trustees, and John Bruno acclaimed as vice-chair for the 2025/26 term.
Turco says as a board they remain focused on making the best decisions in their shared commitment to Catholic education.
Bruno echoed her sentiments adding it is a privilege to continue in the role working alongside all the trustees.
Education director Fil Lettiiri congratulated the two on their appointments for the next school year.
The board oversees several schools throughout the districts from Sault Ste. Marie, east to Espanola, and North to Chapleau including schools in Massey, Elliot Lake and Blind River.
