McHappy Day is tomorrow

By Rosalind Russell – McHappy Day is a one-day fundraiser organized by McDonald’s Canada where a portion of proceeds from all food and beverage menu items go to Ronald McDonald Houses and other local children’s charities.

The funds raised go directly towards providing essential support to families staying at the houses across Canada including accommodations, food, mental health, and so much more while their child is receiving medical treatment.

Most of the funds raised from Espanola’s and Elliot Lake’s location will be going to Sudbury with smaller amounts supporting the homes located at children’s hospitals in Toronto and Ottawa.

Moose radio morning hosts will be on site from 10 am to 2 pm and there will also be several extra activities for families to take in during the day.
