
By Rosalind Russell – The Mississagi River Monitoring Committee is hosting its annual general meeting early next month.
According to the release, the committee brings together representatives from participating municipalities, agencies, and organizations involved in monitoring conditions along the Mississagi River system.
It is considered an opportunity to review river conditions, dam operations, seasonal considerations, and other matters related to water levels and river management as the spring season approaches.
Residents can submit questions for consideration in advance of the meeting and anyone wishing to make a presentation will be allowed up to five minutes to do so.
The committee is asking delegation requests and questions be submitted in advance to prepare for the gathering on Thursday, April 2, at 6:00 p.m.
