By Rosalind Russell – Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord has launched its new environmental recognition program by naming its first Eco-Hero.
Education director Carl Dussault, says as part of the launch, CS the board has given the title to Patrick Hébert, their Maintenance and Energy Manager at the board office.
He says as an active member of the Board’s Environmental Education Advisory Committee, Hébert has distinguished himself through exemplary leadership and the completion of major projects that directly impact the ecological footprint of regional schools.
Dussault adds it also helped the board achieve third place among the most energy-efficient schools boards in Ontario.
